Insanity diet will help you get fit and stay healthy!

This program is designed for a full body transformation. In 60 days Shaun T will take you were most people get in one year. You don’t need weights, your own body supplies the resistance. And you don’t need to spend countless hours at the gym, just less than one hour a day in your own home. What you do need is will power, and lots of it, because the Insanity Workout is going to test your limits, physical and mentally.

Shaun T's Insanity is probably the hardest workout ever put on DVD. But if you can stick with it for 60 days, you will end up with the hardest body ever. A body like Shaun T’s, the famous trainer, a former track star who developed this wicked workout.

Shaun T is going to keep it very real. The Insanity Deluxe Recovery Package includes 13 workouts that are not for everybody. The Insanity Deluxe is not for a person who is lazy, and it’s not for a person that finds excuses. It is only for that person that is mentally ready to take their body to peak physical condition.

Insanity pushes you beyond what you thought was possible with explosive cardio and plyometric drills and non-stop intervals of strength, power and resistance. Additional ab and core training techniques will get you amazing results in just 60 days. Interval training allows you to beat the “stress adaptation response,” which is what happens when your body gets used to exercising at one level of exertion and stops improving. An interval workout includes a set where you perform at your maximum, followed by one of lower intensity, with the cycle repeated to achieve a cumulative effect.

Then, multiply that amount by 1.55 if you’re “moderately active” which is moderate exercise 3-5 days/wk or 1.7 if you’re “very active” which is hard exercise 6-7 days/wk.  I chose 1.7 since I workout 2 times/day most days.  For weight maintenance, that is your daily calorie allotment.  If you want to lose weight, subtract 500 calories/day from that total.  If you want to gain weight, add 250-300 calories/day.  It doesn’t take much to tip the scales, so make sure you calculate carefully.  Don’t forget to include your recovery drink Insanity diet !

When I started   Insanity diet, I weighed 110lbs and calculated that I need approx 2,200 calories/day to maintain my weight while doing Insanity.  That’s 300 more than I was eating on P90X!  After beginning the program, I could understand that logic.  They workouts make you sweat!  Now I’m around 105lbs but haven’t adjusted my calorie intake.  Sometimes it’s hard for me to reach 2,200 but other days I’m super hungry.
